With the help of her faithful assistant from England Nigel Bailey the university professor Sydney Fox moonlights as a relic hunter. Together they travel around the globe in search for stolen relics to be returned to museum always risking their lives. So this is really like Tomb Raider on your screen but ehm, it's quite good. Yes there are some very good locations to see throughout the series and the must-have objects are sometimes very interesting. I could even say that some have an actual historical value and/or seem to come close to their existing counterparts - I hope I'm not making it too difficult to understand? am I? And of course: Sydney's not alone (she's got her loyal partner Nigel) and she too has her share of enemies. A real relic hunter knows the name of the game! You've got to watch this series - if you can…! 9/10 This is magnificent fairy-tale. Almost everything is perfect:characters ( a strong, beautiful, smart and independent woman and little clumsy, slow, but yet so intelligent and highly capable man - modern people), actions, every episode story and also that cynical humour… But there is one thing, that kind of bothers me - Sidney Fox is just a human, at least I believe she is, but she seems sometimes so cold, too strong and too "I don`t need anyone" kind of person. A little bit of emotions would make her even more hero, that she is.
